13th April, 2014 VIN has been implementing various projects under the women’s empowerment program. VIN has supported Jitpurphedi women Agriculture Co-operative Limited to run its activities. The formation of various women’s group in Jitpur and successful functioning of women’s cooperative proves their achievement at best. Jitpurphedi women Agriculture Co-operative Limited is preparing to publish its annual calendar for 2071 B.S. The objective of calendar publication is to include cooperative’s annual program, to encourage women groups of co-operative, to raise their ability and to promote their own business to related organization.
The co-operative management committee conducted meeting for the publication of a calendar. They sent letters for advertisement to the concerned stakeholders. VIN’s staff and cooperative management committee members worked together for advertisement collection, photographs and other publication work. They also collected funds. Co-operative members collected pictures, advertisement, funds from Balaju, Dharmasthali, panchmane ,Kisandol,Kot. The publication work is expected to start at the 1st week of Baisakh.
The main purpose of the VIN for supporting in calendar publication is to empower the women. This project is very useful in community as each family member is directly benefited. They are thankful to VIN for their wonderful contribution on different projects and they are hopeful that VIN will continue their support in future as well.
