On 15th of September Volunteers Initiative Nepal received 10 long-term volunteers for Buddhist Monastery program, Women Empowerment, Post disaster relief, Volunteer coordinator ship, and Early Childhood Education Program and two for job shadowers. The volunteers are from different countries. They are from England, Denmark, USA, and France. In this Intake VIN acquired family volunteers of four members for Early Childhood Development Program.
Early Childhood Education Project is the foundation of a good education, healthy social development of the child and the community. This program fosters a congenial learning environment for children of 3 to 5 years of age to develop rudimentary and emotional skills that build a basis for creative thinking, subject matter comprehension and retention. The family members are Sian Hostad , Sam Hostad ,Evan Hostad and Karl Hostad from England .They are father ,mother and two sons of the Hostad family .These volunteers are very enthusiastic and energetic on their goal. They have operated various techniques to teach the small nursery kids of 3 to 5 years of age of North Star English Higher Secondary School. They strongly believe on their teaching techniques i.e songs, rhymes, dance to teach small nursery students which results very positive and assist to develop children mentally, emotionally and intellectually. The small kids are also enjoying and learning this method with dancing, playing and singing in active way. The support of the volunteers is been enriching the VIN through different programs.
