7th April, 2014:- The VIN family would like to extend a warm thank you to our good friend and fellow volunteer John Michaels from Sydney. He joined VIN’s “Volunteer Trekking” program from 1st march, 2014 for 5 weeks. He went to Everest Base Camp under the same program. His efforts as a cheerful role-model to those within the youth empowerment program and Social Welfare Child Centre Orphanage were greatly appreciated by all involved. His friendly nature and down to earth behavior was very much appreciated by VIN’s staff and volunteers.
John assisted VIN by delivering his innovative ideas for effective functioning of various projects. He provide an orphanage with food and other basic necessities such as kitchenware and entertainment materials for the children worth over $1000, as well as donating $2000 towards ongoing project expenses. Further, he has committed $3000 more for VIN funds. VIN and its partners wish him well in his future undertakings and hope to see his lovely smile in the not too distant future!
