Volunteers Initiatives Nepal (ViN), in partnership with Pi Youth Association (Türkiye) and ICJA (Germany), is excited to announce the “Youth, We Can (YWC)!” project. This initiative seeks passionate young people between 18 and 35 years old to join us in empowering rural communities across Nepal. Over three 150-day cycles with the help of 24 young volunteers from Europe.
The Challenge:
Many Nepalese communities face challenges related to children’s rights, family support, youth education and employment opportunities, women’s empowerment, and public health issues.
The Solution:
The YWC! project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to positive change. Over two years, three rounds of eight volunteers each will be deployed to support vital projects in these communities.
Volunteer Activities:
Educating about children’s rights and improving social skills,
Offering workshops for parents to support their families better,
Creating job opportunities and promoting equal access to education for youth,
Empowering women to participate more in the economy, education, and social life,
Improving healthcare access in rural areas to ensure well-being for all.
By joining YWC!, you will:
- Gain valuable experience in international development work.
- Contribute to meaningful social change in Nepal.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of volunteers and local partners.
- Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Nepal.
