Volunteers Initiative Nepal welcomes International and National people to experience the volunteering program in the community. On the month of October, VIN welcomed 5 interns for Integrated Community Development program. They dedicated three months time to help VIN meet its goal.
They started from 1st of October, 2013 and helped other international volunteers in their programs. They mostly helped in translation work. This enthusiastic group was also involved in children camp held on the month of January. They facilitated and helped the international volunteers with planning and in the activities during children camp. These interns facilitated three children camps in three different schools. Also they helped in the survey about hazards, with focus on basic hygiene for families with and without toilets based on emergency relief and disaster management program.
With the completion of three months internship with VIN, these 5 internees did their exit from VIN on 30th March, 2014. They received a completion certificate and evaluation of their work.
