On the 21st of July, we had a meeting with women’s co-operative executive bodies of Taluwa Women’s Multi-Purpose Co-operative Limited, Taluwa and Saraswati Women’s Agriculture Co-operative limited, Thulachhap. The goal agenda of the meeting were to review their past year achievements, learn challenges and discuss future activities.
We discussed the yearly wish list of the co-operative by dividing the participants into two groups. They shared their wish list and received feedback. VIN staff will facilitate the cooperatives to prepare the Annual plan and also deliver capacity building training. We will also facilitate women’s clubs restructuring and capacity building trainings.
Our President Bhupendra Ghimire handed a cheque of 3,00,000 (Three lakh) rupees as revolving fund to Saraswati Women’s Agriculture Co-operative limited from VIN.
VIN’s president Bhupi also handed a SAFE DEPOSIT Machines worth Rs 50,000 each Taluwa Women’s Multi-Purpose Cooperative and Saraswoti Women’s Agriculture Cooperative to keep the money safe from potential theft, robbery and disaster risk.
We ended our program by discussing the challenges and the possible solutions for those challenges. There were 15 women’s cooperative participants present in the meeting. Thank you for reading our updates.
