Volunteers Initiative Nepal received ten volunteers on 1st of September for long term program. These volunteers are for different programs i.e. Health and care, English development, Buddhist Monastery, Toilet construction, emergency relief and disaster management, child care and orphanage and teaching sport. For these volunteers, VIN has conducted three days induction and placed them on the third day of induction to the host family near their working areas.
One of the Volunteer of teaching sports Maryanne Kay from Australia has conducted her first day class on 4th of September in North Star Secondary English School. She has organised different games to the primary students which help them to develop their physical, mental, emotional and social development. On her first working day, she has taught different games especially in which different types of balls can be used. She is enjoying teaching different sports to the small students and students too are very happy to get the very energetic sports teacher. This project helps the children to keep them healthy mentally and physically. The students of North Star seem very excited and cooperative with our volunteer, Maryanne.
VIN is actively participate in taking international and national volunteers for the welfare of the whole community and their children. Its aim is to empower the livelihood of poor and marginalized community through different ways. Its aim is to create happiness among all the children of the community and develop healthy living life too.
