ViN is thrilled to announce the upcoming deployment of 10 European Solidarity Corps volunteers through the Vol4HumAid project. In partnership with Vystomojo Bendradarbiavimo Platforma | Lithuanian NGDO Platform, we are excited to welcome these dedicated individuals who will contribute significantly to the development of our communities.
Volunteer Activities:
The volunteers will be actively involved in various projects aimed at empowering youth, protecting children, and promoting sustainable development. Their primary focus areas include:
Child Protection:
Building partnerships with local stakeholders, establishing child protection clubs, developing life skills manuals, and conducting awareness campaigns.
Youth Empowerment:
Providing life skills training, digital literacy programs, and supporting youth club reformation.
Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR):
Building community resilience through DRR training, establishing disaster management committees, and developing awareness materials.
Sustainable Food Production:
Promoting permaculture practices, improving water management, and supporting farmers in adopting sustainable farming methods.
Expected Impact:
Through their dedication and expertise, the volunteers will contribute to the following positive outcomes:
- Strengthened child protection systems and increased awareness among children and communities.

Recruitment and Preparation:
Vystomojo Bendradarbiavimo Platforma | Lithuanian NGDO Platform has successfully recruited ten volunteers, with two assigned to each project. An online orientation program will be conducted to prepare the volunteers for their deployment in Nepal, covering topics such as cultural understanding, project objectives, and safety guidelines.
Project Timeline:
The volunteers are scheduled to arrive in Nepal on November 5, 2024, and will be actively engaged in project activities until the end of their deployment.
