Mr. Khatiwada, as a Program manager, plans and designs the projects, oversees and monitors the progress of all activities, conducts capacity development of staffs and also supervises ESC projects. His experience and the expertise as a Resource Person, evaluation and monitoring Team Leader, Education expert, Educator in personal and professional development incl soft skills, speaker in national and International conferences in home and abroad, leaderships and managerial in NGOs, school and colleges consequently resulted him a National Education Award by the government of Nepal and also Cambridge scholarship in the UK.
He is responsible mainly in designing the projects, Rapport/ constituency building with stakeholders and local government, Supporting, monitoring /supervision and providing feedback to ESC HumAid projects and overseeing all other projects, capacity development of staffs and communities, conducting different soft skill trainings for preparedness, Income generation and livelihood mainly in marginalized communities. This obviously contributes to VIN’s mission and goals
As a vibrant professional, Mr Khatiwada has become members of various organizations. He is a member of IATEFL and the life member of senior citizen study centre, Red cross, NELTA (in which he experienced as a district chairperson and later a central committee secretary)
Academically He is an MA Mphil in English, M ed in English, MA in sociology and currently doing PhD in Tribhuwan University; And Professionally He is a TESOL from Thailand, professional Educator from UK, Roster trainer in the British Council, National trainer in Educational training center and NELTA, International Trainer in the Bell International.
Mr. Khatiwada has attended so many skill training (TOTs) such as Critical Thinking and Appreciative Inquiry from Asian Institute of technology (AIT) Thailand, Project management/ strengthening Associations/ presentation skills/proposal and Report writing, strategic planning, personal and professional Training, M & E training from The British council. He has attended so many professional national and international conferences as a presenter, and sometimes as an organizer. As a speaker He has
visited the UK, Thailand, Russia, Qatar, India (Hyderabad) and more than 50 districts in Nepal
He has keen interest in working in a marginalized community, so he was involved in volunteering organitions like Reiyukai Nepal for 10 yrs, NELTA for 20 yrs, senior citizen protection and study center as a founder and life member, samaj sachetan Kendra , Cardsn, Rudec and cobdesor in various managerial capacity; And also as a facilitators in The British Council Training to support marginalized communities in outlying zones in Nepal. So, he has a strong passion in social and academic activities.
