“The offered programs for marginalized groups looked essential, urgent, and hopeful. My program allowed me to see in practice a triumph of human hope. My students -no matter the background- were able to participate, unveil, and contribute to the offered knowledge with a newly found methodological perspective. The impact of each other’s lives was mutual. They allowed me after a while to see the world with their eyes and I offered them my world in words and images. My conclusion is that these children do not need necessarily materialistic products but a vision of their homeland surrounded by hope for the future.”
